I like the way your dragonfly is coming along, especially with the legs. They look nice and strong but still organic. I also like your balance of organic and mechanical shapes. One thing I'd watch out for is the 3/4 or front view of the dragonfly's face--the shape is a little bit off somewhere. I'm not exactly sure where, but I think it's the edge of the dragonfly's face (on our left). Maybe making the eye and the face more streamlined would help? Maybe. Also, I'd like to see how your flying spider turns out!
I like the dragonfly side view in the bottom corner. It looks pretty solid. Keep refining the 3/4 view and some of the shapes. As for the bottom creature, I like how you show it has a ground and flight mode. It's a good call back to the ant/wasp moment in the book. It's a little too blocky right now and needs more definition but I think you're heading in a good direction. Keep working on how the legs look and experiment with different thin/thicknesses to see how they might look. Can't wait to see how these turn out!
I really like where you are going with the Dragon fly design. Looks sturdy. I like the wing design, just be careful to make sure the wings aren't to flimsy. I like the legs and body of the ant lion too. I am excited to see further renderings!
